Busy...oh so busy...
This weekend was one busy weekend. Starting with Friday, I had went to classes, went to a meeting, went to work, and then I went to this Peak Performers boot camp for Leaders, and then my car wasn't functioning as well as it normally did. So, school was pretty good. I had to leave class early to make it to a meeting off campus. The meeting went very well. Then, I went to work as a tutor at a charter school where I work with children that has a 60 to 70% chance of failing. The tutoring went well. The kids are understanding and I'm happy to know that. Then, afterwards I went to get something to eat and headed to this Leadership conference called Peak Performers boot camp. It was definitely worth going. Although I was tired after I left, this guy that I liked invited me on a date and we went to see the Grace Card the movie. I really enjoyed it. Its a wonderful movie that I would encourage everyone to see. So, lets go to Saturday. Saturday was busy as well. I had a road race that morning downtown. The race went well. My team mates and I that ran placed top 1-6 out of 373 people. So, I was pretty happy. I wasnt as pleased with ,y time although I'm recovering from a stress fracture and getting back.. Well thats just a taste of what my weekend was like. But, I have to say that although it was busy, I enjoyed every moment of it. It was full of lessons to learn and memories to enjoy. Now, I have to jump back into school mode. Have a blessed week everyone.!!

LOL! CARRIE YOURE SO FUNNY TO ME AND YES YOU ARE ALLLWAYS BUSY CLEARLY. WHEN I SAW YOU IN THE MALL IT LOOKED AS IF YOU WERE RUSHING SOMEWHERE...I TOLD MY BOYFRIEND SHE'S A REALLY SMART, NICE AND ALWAYS BUSY. I ALSO TOLD HIM YOUR THE ONLY ONE WHO TALKS IN CLASS LOL. I WORKED ALL WEEKEND AS USUAL. AND IT MUST FEEL REALLY GREAT TO KNOW THAT YOU ARE HELPING SOMEONE EXCEL IN SCHOOL. I LOVE YOUR PASSION AND THE DRIVE YOU HAVE FOR IT. THAT AWESOME. MOST PPL DONT HAVE PATIENCE WITH CHILDRN. HAVE A GREAT DAY
ReplyDeleteHa you did have a very busy weekend, but at least you were doing something productive right. Most people would have had a busy weekend getting into trouble. Well congrats to you and the team and I have never heard of that movie, but since you recommend it I will check it out.
ReplyDeleteWow you were busy! I can honestly say all I did this weekend was party and study, two things that don't go together at all. Especially when you are hungover from a party Friday night, and you have a 9am judo class on Saturday. I know my habits are horrible to look at but you have the kind of drive that is amazing. I miss volunteering and going to different programs, i really haven't done as much of it as i hoped. Maybe some of your good habits will wear off on me.
